why is low level laser light therapy important for hair regrowth?
DHT is dihydrotestosterone, which is a biologically active metabolite of the hormone testosterone. this metabolite travel through our blood stream and attaches itself to the base of the hair follicle on the androgen receptors. The androgen receptors pass food and oxygen onto the hair follicle. When DHT is attached, the follicle can not get the nutrition and oxygen it needs to grow or survive. In time, the follicle begins to shrink in size and the hair growing from the follicle begins to get finer and thinner, until eventually, the thin, weakened hair will shed and the follicle will not be able to produce new hair, hence the loss.
